Charles Robins is Managing Director of Fairmount Partners. He has more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur, executive, strategic consultant, and investment banker. Previously, he was Managing Director, co-head of Corporate Finance, and led the U.S. technology practice for Investec Inc. Prior to his investment banking career, he founded and operated companies in the software and telecommunications arena. Charles was a Ph.D. research fellow at New York University where he also earned master’s degrees in computer science and mathematics. He graduated from Brooklyn College.
